I am Colombian, a business administrator by profession, wife, mother, and grandmother. Due to political reasons, we emigrated to the USA, leaving everything we had built in our country for our future, and of course, we had to start from scratch.
For 17 years, I worked in two companies to secure my retirement pension, and indeed, it happened; then, I continued working for one more year and, to my surprise, the company I had worked for 12 years was permanently closed. Of course, my income was reduced to 40% of what I was accustomed to receiving.
Although I didn’t lack anything, I could no longer maintain the standard of living I was used to. I tried to find another job, and truthfully, I didn’t like any of the offers I received. However, I was doing volunteer work at the American Cancer Society. While I was there, I received a call from Victoria, who scheduled a meeting with me at my home. When she introduced me to the Club and its benefits, I immediately knew what I wanted to do.
For me, it was the opportunity to become the successful entrepreneur I once was in my country, and on top of that, I could help many people travel, strengthen family bonds, and help older individuals like myself continue living and enjoying life by assisting others. Thanks to the Club and everyone who has helped me become a better person every day, in one way or another.
